Ever since high school, I’ve always had a strong passion for design and creativity. While in college, I decided to put my passion on hold to pursue a Bachelors degree in Health Service Administration at Florida Atlantic University.  After graduating with my degree and making my family proud, I set out to fulfill my passion for interior design and special events. In 2013, I took a leap of faith and started my own special events company called Tica Rose Events, LLC.

Tica Rose Events, LLC, located in the beautiful and sunny South Florida, sets out to build an amazing brand that brings an authentic feel from the décor to the ambiance to its fullest potential. Tica Rose Events, LLC specializes in custom, chic and over the top celebrations such as weddings, intimate dinners, baby/bridal showers, children soiree, and corporate events.

Tica Rose Events, LLC exemplify perfection in all aspects of planning an event and ensure that we understand the overall vision. We at Tica Rose Events, LLC, define our success by witnessing the excitement and love from our clients after seeing their event at the final stages. The “Event Journey”, which we experience with our clients in the planning process, creating and designing to the execution which makes it all worth the while.

What is a Wedding Stylist/Designer vs. a Wedding Planner

Many couples assume wedding planners and stylists/designer are the same thing, but they are very different! Conversely, a wedding planner will focus primarily on sourcing the right vendors, secure your venue, help navigate you through the legal aspect of getting married abroad, create a timeline, managing your budget, and orchestrate everyone the day of your wedding.

A wedding stylist​/ designer​ is a translator: we translate your vision of your wedding ​day — down to ​​the smallest detail — into a reality​ ​ We have an eye for balance, texture, color, and environment, and use those skills to create a beautiful ambience for your wedding day. Much as a ​S​tylist can help you pick out ​an outfit, match accessories, and make sure you’re appropriate dressed for your event, a ​wedding stylist​/designer​ will work with you on every element of your wedding day to make sure it all ​comes together in a way that makes sense aesthetically and that is also consistent with ​your vision.

There are certainly planners who are also stylists, and stylists who also plan and coordinate.
